You need a camera that will allow you to select it’s manual functions. For example, the camera needs to have a control or dial that will allow you to select the following modes: M – Manual, A or Av – Aperure priority, S – Shutter Priority and P – Program mode.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
This is a Level One Course and is a great staring point to learn how to use a camera and acquire new skills to correctly capture the photographs you want. The course is designed to teach the basics and no proir knowledge is required.
PHOTOGRAPHY – LEVEL ONE
This course is a great introduction on how to correctly set up your camera and understand what functions and controls are important. You will then learn the process required to use the camera manually to create the exact look your are seeking with each photograph.This is a great practical course that is all about the hands on use of your camera. Regardless of whether you want to make photography a hobby or you just want to be able to take family photos and record the events of children growing up or that wonderful holiday experience, then this is the course for you.
We have removed all the technical mumbo jumbo and designed a course for all levels. We will set your camera up so you can take a photo that will allow you to either print it at a minilab. on a home printer or share it on your favourite social media site.
Monday 4th September 2017 from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. The weekend workshop is on Sunday 10th September 2017 from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

We cover all your ground transportation needs during the activity.
We cover all your entry fees or permits for the activity.
All your workshop tuition is covered for the activity.
Tea & coffee is provided. A light lunch is available for the weekend workshop. .
All handouts and training material is suplied. You will also have access to an online training resource to re-enforce your training experience.
You will need your own camera however you can hire one from Ufocus for the course if required.
You will also need a bean bag, if you don’t have one, they can be purchased from Ufocus
We discuss the camera types and explore their uses.
We have a brief introduction to how your camera and its lenses work.
We will teach you how to set up your camera to suit your needs.
We will teach you how to shoot in manual mode plus how to use other auto functions.
We will teach you how to hold your camera and focus correctly.
You will learn how your camera measures light and the digital zone system.
Lastly, you will get to complete a heap of hans on activities on how to capture the the five photo types that will allow you to create any type of future photo in the style you want.

No one wants to miss the opportunity to travel or learn, but things do happen… In those situation, this is our policy.
All cancellations are subject to a $20 administration charge. In addition, if you cancel the following fee schedule will apply:
30 days or more: full refund less the administration fee.
14 days or more: 50% of the fee.
Less then 7 days; No refund.
